Dr. Nikhil Anand is a Journalist turned Politician from India. He was born on 20 July 1975 at JiwarakhanTola village of Maner administrative block in the capital district of Patna.

Nikhil Anand has been a Journalist since 1999. He started his career as a Trainee Journalist in Rashtriya Sahara Hindi Newspaper at Noida. Later on, he worked at Etv, Sahara Tv, Zee News, India News, Maurya Tv as well as several other national and international media houses on regular and assignment basis. He has worked in the capacity of Copy Editor, Reporter & Correspondent, Bureau Chief, Senior Producer, News Producer, Political Editor etc, moving around in the state of Andhra Pradesh, Delhi & NCR, Bihar, Jharkhand and Uttar Pradesh. In 2014 Loksabha & 2015 Bihar assembly elections, he worked as a political analyst for Rajya Sabha TV and other channels. Apart from this, he has also been writing in newspapers and magazines of India and abroad. That is, leaving the successful career of Journalism, Nikhil Anand had decided to join politics in 2015.
